Zero Balancing®

Zero Balancing, sometimes referred to as ‘ZB’, emerged in the 1970s under the guidance of Fritz Frederick Smith, MD, a visionary American physician, osteopath, and acupuncturist. Dr. Smith, born in 1929, distinguished himself as one of the earliest Western practitioners to delve deeply into acupuncture, meditation, and other Eastern healing modalities. Zero Balancing stands as his enduring legacy—a harmonious fusion of Eastern philosophy and Western methodology.

During Zero Balancing sessions, which typically span 30 to 40 minutes, clients recline comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. Through skilled touch, practitioners engage the body applying pressure and traction to facilitate release and realignment.

Zero Balancing is perfect for our fast-paced modern world where there can be relentless demands and pervasive stress.  Zero Balancing can help with innate wellness beneath all illness, pain, or distress.

By enhancing postural alignment and optimizing joint mobility, this modality fosters a greater sense of ease and fluidity in movement.

Aligned with Eastern practices like meditation, yoga, and tai chi, Zero Balancing fosters a profound union of body and mind. Sessions evoke a profound state of relaxation and vitality, offering respite from the strains of physical and emotional stress while facilitating the release of deep-seated traumas.
